About KOREATECH
□ Exchange Program
○ Period: 1 or 2 semesters
○ How to apply: Submit application to the international office of the partner universities
○ Remarks: If exchange students have sufficient English skills, we can offer them a part-time job on campus
□ Application Deadlines
○ Spring Semester 2025: November 30th, 23:59 (KST)
○ Fall Semester 2025: May 31st, 23:59 (KST)
□ Requirements and Application
○ Eligibility
- Undergraduate students only (must have completed at least 2 semesters at their home university).
- Sufficient English or Korean proficiency to understand lectures.
○ Tuition Fees:
- Tuition fees are waived for incoming exchange students from partner universities.
□ Application Procedure:
○ Submit the following documents via email to terrykim@koreatech.ac.kr by the deadline:
- Application form
- Official certificate of registration
- Official transcript (for every semester)
- (Optional) TOPIK or English language proficiency certificate (within 2 years)
- Copy of passport
- Personal medical/travel insurance (to be submitted upon arrival)
□ VISA Requirements:
○ Students need a valid VISA. Request an official invitation letter and Certificate of Admission from KOREATECH to submit to the Korean embassy.

□ Course Registration
○ Course Catalog: Refer to the attached file (courses taught in English).
○ The course catalog will be updated before each semester.
○ International students must register for courses after arriving at KOREATECH.
□ Grading System
○ KOREATECH uses a 4.5 scale GPA. Student performance is evaluated based on midterms, finals, homework, and class participation. See Appendix A for details.

□ International Students Support
○ Professional Counseling Services for international students
- KOREATECH's Counseling & Career Development Center offers professional counseling services to international students
○ Field Trip
- For international students, a field trip to visit attractions around the city is planned every semester.
○ Pick Up Sdrvice
- For new students, KOREATECH provides a pick-up service from the airport to KOREATECH
○ Other Services
- Renewing visas, acquiring medical insurance and other services will be provided to international students.
○ Convenient facilities
- Prayer room, Sports complex, Library, Dormitories, Cafeteria, etc.
□ Practical Information for Incoming Students
○ Housing:
- On-campus dormitory (Chambit): Twin rooms with showers, desks, beds, and free Wi-Fi.
- Cost: KRW 694,000 (USD 485) per semester.
○ Meals: KRW 5,000 (USD 4) per meal (on-campus dining).
○ Health Insurance: KRW 75,940 (USD 53) per month (subject to change).
○ Korean Language Course: Offered by the Global Education Center.
○ Support Services:
