Foreigner Registration
International students must register as a foreigner in order to receive a foreign ID card, often referred to as an "Alien ID card". MAKING YOUR FOREIGNER I.D. CARD SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY UPON ARRIVAL. The foreign ID card will be used in a variety of circumstances during your stay in Korea. Many places which have a specific age requirement will ask to see your foreign ID card. You will be required to present your foreign ID card when making a mobile phone account under your name (meaning, the faster you create your foreign ID the faster you will be able to create a mobile phone account). - Three color standard size photograph
- Certificate of Enrollment at KOREATECH
- 30,000 KRW must be paid as a processing fee
For all visa procedure, The chief of mission may ask additional documents in order to examine the purpose of stay, genuineness of invitation, and qualifications of the inviter and invitee if deemed necessary.
